    Petra Goldflamová-Štětinová

Petra Goldflamová-Štětinová is a renowned costume and set designer, puppet designer, painter, and book illustrator. She was born in 1970 in Prague, where she first studied toy and puppet design at the Secondary School of Applied Arts, and subsequently graduated in scenography from the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU). She has connected her creative career with many leading Czech stages, so audiences may know her visual signature from the Dejvice Theatre, the Klicpera Theatre in Hradec Králové, HaDivadlo, the Minor Theatre in Prague, or the National Theatre Brno. During her rich career, she has designed costumes and sets for productions by prominent directors such as Vladimír Morávek, the Forman Brothers, and her husband Arnošt Goldflam, with whom she has formed a proven creative tandem since their student days. Her precise work, which gives theatrical performances an unmistakable appearance, also earned her a nomination for the Alfréd Radok Award for Scenography for the production If Pigs Had Wings (Kdyby prase mělo křídla).
