Jakub Malovaný

Jakub Malovaný is a Czech publicist, writer, presenter, and theater stage manager. He has been working closely with the Zlín City Theater since 2011. He is not a traditional actor; his main domain is creating original projects, presenting, and working as a stage manager, through which he has contributed to many productions, such as the famous political cabaret Ovčáček čtveráček. Nevertheless, he occasionally appears on stage in minor roles—he played, for example, in the productions Baťa Tomáš, živý, Osobní poplach, or Jednou budem dál. He became known primarily as the author of the extensive project MDZ: Vaše divadlo!
