Branislav Bystriansky

Branislav Bystriansky is a Slovak actor admired for his natural performance style, subtle humor and ability to bring authentic humanity to every character he portrays. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) and began performing professionally while still a student. He is a long-time member of the Slovak National Theatre, where he has played a wide range of roles — from comedic characters to psychologically complex dramatic parts. He has also appeared at other leading Slovak theatres, including the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra, the New Scene Theatre, West Theatre and Aréna Theatre. In addition to his stage work, he regularly appears in television dramas, films and TV series, and is known for a restrained yet powerful acting presence and strong sense of authenticity.
