Stanislav Fišer
Stanislav Fišer was a Czech actor and unmistakable dubbing artist who became a legend thanks to his voice and charisma. After his studies, he worked in several theatres and spent many years mainly with Divadlo ABC and the Prague Municipal Theatres. On stage, he portrayed dozens of roles, from classical dramas to modern comedies. Film audiences remember him from Drahé tety a já, Pěnička a paraplíčko or Smrt černého krále.
However, his name will forever be associated with dubbing: he lent his voice to dozens of iconic characters, most notably the fearless May hero Winnetou. The media described him as a “voice legend of Czech dubbing”; his voice accompanied generations and became part of Czech cultural memory.
