Matěj Hádek

Matěj Hádek is a Czech actor who moves effortlessly between humor and drama, as well as between film, theatre, and television. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory and has been one of the most sought-after Czech actors since the 1990s. He has performed in numerous theatres, including the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, the East Bohemian Theatre in Pardubice, the Vinohrady Theatre, Švanda Theatre, Divadlo v Celetné, and Dejvické divadlo. Today, he works as a freelance actor. Audiences know him from films such as The Snake Brothers (for which he won the Czech Lion Award), Jan Hus, Angel of the Lord 2, and Wish for Christmas, among many others.
