Adéla Szturcová
Adéla Szturcová is a prominent Czech scenographer and costume designer and one of the leading voices of the new generation of theatre artists. She studied scenography at JAMU in Brno, and her work is defined by a bold visual style, playfulness, original use of space, and a strong sense for detail.
She collaborates with major Czech theatres, including Divadlo Petra Bezruče, Divadlo Husa na provázku, the Zlín Municipal Theatre, as well as independent projects. Audiences have seen her set and costume designs in productions such as Krysař, Jednou nám za to děcka poděkujou, Sedmero krkavců, and Orlando.
Adéla Szturcová belongs to the creators who can tell a story through space, materials, and light just as powerfully as actors do on stage. Her work brings contemporary aesthetics, poetic sensitivity, and a courageous spirit of experimentation to the theatre.
