Marie Rosůlková
Marie Rosůlková (1901–1993) was a legendary Czech actress whose elegance, dry humour and impeccable comedic timing made her one of the most beloved figures of Czech theatre and film. She performed on several stages, including the Municipal Theatre in Plzeň and the South Bohemian Theatre, but shone the most at the Vinohrady Theatre and the Prague Municipal Theatres.
Audiences remember her as charming ladies with a sharp tongue and gentle wit, both in films such as Six Bears and a Clown, Four Murders Are Enough, Darling, or The Girls from the Porcelain, and in her iconic television role as the grandmother in the classic series A Quite Normal Family.
