Vladimír Salač

Vladimír Salač was a Czech actor and singer known for his natural stage presence, gentle humour and understated acting style. He worked for many years at the Prague City Theatres, particularly at Divadlo ABC and Divadlo Rokoko, where he remained until his death. Both on stage and on screen, he portrayed characters built on calmness, authenticity and precise timing, which made him a beloved ensemble member and a reliable character actor. He appeared in numerous theatre productions, and audiences may also remember him from film and television, such as the series Dlouhá míle. As a singer, he featured in several films, including Zeman’s comedy Anděl na horách, where he performed the song “Kytička bílá.”
