Katarína Koišová

Katarína Koišová is a Slovak author and dramaturg who ranks among the notable figures of contemporary Czech–Slovak theatre. She studied dramaturgy at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno and has long focused on working with dramatic texts, creating adaptations, and exploring current themes that resonate with today’s audiences. She has collaborated with Švandovo Theatre, HaDivadlo, and Divadlo Feste, and is closely associated with the Zlín Municipal Theatre, where she works as a dramaturg shaping the repertoire across genres – from contemporary drama and literary adaptations to socially engaged projects.
