Gabriela Míčová

Gabriela Míčová is a Czech theatre, film and television actress. She graduated in drama acting from DAMU and became especially prominent at Prague’s Divadlo Komedie, where she created a number of powerful roles in both classical and contemporary repertoire. A major milestone in her career was the role of Romi in Odpad, město, smrt, for which she received the Thalia Award and the Divadelní noviny Award, and later also the Czech Lion for the film adaptation. On stage, Gabriela Míčová is appreciated for her exceptional intensity, psychological precision and ability to create deeply human characters. On screen she has appeared in the films Odpad, město, smrt, Pohádkář and Tři bratři, as well as in television series such as Specialisté and Odznak Vysočina.
