Ladislav Hampl

Ladislav Hampl is an actor who effortlessly spans the range from Shakespearean tragedies and theatrical classics to the sharp, contemporary humor of Tomáš Dianiška. After graduating from the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU), he became a mainstay of Prague's Divadlo Na zábradlí, where he shone in productions such as The Housekeeper (Gazdina roba) or Platonov is a Scoundrel!. However, he never fully left his hometown or the F. X. Šalda Theatre. Liberec audiences especially adore him in cult comedies—his performance as a neurotic director in LSN (Love, Sex and Tenderness) and his role in the legendary Atomic Kitty are among the highlights of the local scene. The general public knows and loves him as Jarmil from the series Okresní přebor, as well as for his roles in Ordinaci v růžové zahradě or Polabí.
