Pavel Prais

Pavel Prais is a Czech stage and film actor, and a member of the drama company at the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice. He initially studied civil engineering and architecture at the secondary technical school in Příbram and subsequently graduated in dramatic acting from DAMU in Prague, where he was accepted after a year of study at the Higher Professional School of Acting. In South Bohemia, he performs in the drama repertoire as well as at the Revolving Auditorium in Český Krumlov. He achieved notable recognition guest-starring at Prague's Dejvické Theatre in the hit grotesque dark comedy The Death of Stalin (Ztratili jsme Stalina), directed by Michal Vajdička, alongside Jaroslav Plesl and Klára Melíšková. He also performs at the Klicpera Theatre in the productions Arabela and Cyrano.
