Bohdana Pavlíková
Bohdana Pavlíková is a Czech stage, television, and film actress, as well as an educator. Since 2015, she has been a member of the permanent ensemble at the Švanda Theatre in Prague.
She graduated from a grammar school in Teplice and subsequently from the School of Dramatic Arts at the North Moravian Theatre in Šumperk. She spent nineteen years in the Šumperk ensemble, portraying numerous key roles, including Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, and Nora in Ibsen’s A Doll’s House. For her performance as Nora, she received a wider nomination for the Thalia Award in 2012. Prior to joining the Smíchov stage, she also made guest appearances at the Municipal Theatre in Kladno.
At the Švanda Theatre, she performs in productions such as Pankrác ’45, Tomorrow's Funeral, Rags, Bones, Skin, and Cyrano de Bergerac. Television audiences know her best as Jindra Pražáková from the series The Street (Ulice); she has also appeared in series like Ordinace v růžové zahradě, Rapl, Polda, and in the film Krásno.
