
Bouffes du Nord Theater
Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord is a legendary French theater located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris and inhabited since its foundation by international actors and musicians. It was built in 1876 and revived in 1974, under the direction of British theater director Peter Brook and French stage producer Micheline Rozan. In 1993, the French Ministry of Culture listed it as a historical monument. In 2010, theater director Olivier Mantei and entertainment entrepreneur Olivier Poubelle took over the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord management, with the aim of perpetuating its creative tradition.
