Born out of a protest against the sidelining of women from disadvantaged backgrounds, this daring performance tells authentic stories of women living on the margins of society. A single actress becomes the voice for those who cannot speak and sings a song about the collective longing for a better world. On stage, the Womenstate comes to life - a utopian state operating in an alternative reality where women define the law and the powerful voice of the queen-mother becomes the voice of all the silenced.
