
Андреа Буршова
Andrea Buršová is a Czech actress, singer, and prominent chanson performer whose artistic expression is characterized by deep emotionality and sensitive interpretation.
She studied dramatic acting at JAMU in Brno and spent her first major engagement at the legendary Goose on a String Theatre (Divadlo Husa na provázku). Since 2014, she has been a permanent member of the Švanda Theatre ensemble in Smíchov, excelling in productions such as Pankrác ’45, Romeo and Juliet, or The Rules of Nirvana. As a singer, she focuses primarily on chanson; her credits include the album A Knife for Silence (Nůž na ticho, 2012), on which she collaborated with composer Zdeněk Král and the Indigo Quartet. In 2016, she completed her doctoral studies at JAMU, where she also engaged in teaching.
Television audiences remember her mainly as Tereza in the award-winning series The Life and Times of Judge A. K.; she has also appeared in the series Černá sanitka or the film Muži v říji.
