Вероніка Хек Кубаржова

Veronika Khek Kubařová is a Czech actress who moves gracefully between elegance, humor, and natural charm. Born into a theatre family – her mother was a puppeteer – she has felt at home on stage since childhood. She gained her first experience with the amateur ensemble TYL in Rakovník and graduated from the Prague Conservatory in 2008. When she realized she couldn’t be a princess, she decided to become an actress – as she says, “the only legal way to play someone else.” After her studies, she worked at the City Theatre in Mladá Boleslav and City Theatres of Prague, and since 2015 she has been a permanent member of Dejvické divadlo, where she shines in productions such as Kakadu, Elegance Molecules, and The Winter’s Tale. Audiences also know her from film and television – she appeared in Women on the Run, The Modeler, The President’s Wife, and The Last Aristocrat, as well as in fairy tales like Three Brothers and The Secret of the Old Musket. She won the 10th season of StarDance with Dominik Vodička. Since 2015, she has been married to theatre director Pavel Khek, and in August 2025 they welcomed their son.
