Klára Cibulková

Klára Cibulková is a Czech stage, film, and television actress. Her professional career has long been associated with the Švanda Theatre in Smíchov, where she is one of the ensemble's most prominent figures. She graduated in dramatic acting from DAMU in Prague. After finishing her studies, she was a member of the CD94 theatre group from 1998 to 2001 and later performed at Divadlo v Celetné. In 2002, she joined the permanent ensemble of the newly reopened Švanda Theatre. There, she has portrayed dozens of roles in productions such as The Rat Catcher, Pankrác ’45, and Cry Baby Cry. For her performance in Pankrác ’45, she was shortlisted for the Thalia Award. She is also well known to the general public for her television work, particularly in series such as Ordinace v růžové zahradě, Specialists, and Polabí. In addition to acting, she is active in voice-over work and hosting.
