Réka Derzsi
Réka Derzsi is a Slovak-Hungarian stage and film actress. In her work, she combines classical dramatic acting with extensive physical training in ballet, folklore, and modern dance.
After graduating in dramatic acting from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava under the guidance of Emil Horváth, she performed at the Jókai Theatre in Komárno, the Centrál Színház in Budapest, and the City Theatre in Žilina. She has lived and worked in Prague since 2010. She gained wider recognition for her lead role in the film Foxes (Lištičky), for which she won the Best Actress award at the Rouen festival and received a nomination for the Slovak national film award, Slnko v sieti.
Currently, she primarily guest-stars at the Švanda Theatre in Smíchov, appearing in productions such as Pankrác ’45, Cry Baby Cry, and The Garbage Collectors (Popeláři). Her television and film credits include domestic works (Year of the Widow) as well as international productions, such as the series Zlodeji detí or Tannbach.
