Miroslav Mihálek

Miroslav Mihálek is a Slovak puppeteer, author, founder of the touring theatre company Divadlo SpozaVoza, and educator who effortlessly creates productions for children, young adults, and adults. He graduated in puppet acting from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. Throughout his career, he has established successful collaborations with prestigious institutions such as the Martin Theatre Centre, BIBIANA, Štúdio 12, the Kremnica Underground Theatre, and the Nomantinels theatre. Alongside professional stages, he dedicates himself to working with amateur ensembles, with which he regularly scores success at theatre competitions. Since 2018, he has been creating educational performances in German for the Museum of Carpathian Germans. As an active member of the International Puppetry Association UNIMA under UNESCO, he develops puppet theatre in an international context.
