
Václav Vašák
Václav Vašák is a renowned Czech theatre, television, and film actor. He was born in 1975 in Humpolec. He successfully completed his acting education at JAMU in Brno, graduating in 1999. During his studies, he gained valuable experience at various acting and movement workshops and collaborated intensively with performer Petr Váša. His professional theatrical career began in 2000 when he secured a permanent engagement at the National Theatre Brno. He interrupted his work on this stage for a year to travel to New Zealand, but returned to the Brno ensemble afterward. In 2011, he moved to Prague and became a member of the prestigious Divadlo na Vinohradech ensemble. In addition to the theatre stage, he regularly appears on camera, portraying prominent roles in successful films and series. Audiences know him, for example, from series such as Polabí, Sex O'Clock, or Krejzovi, and he has also appeared in films like Jak přežít svého muže (How to Survive Your Husband) and Teorie tygra (Tiger Theory).
