Much Ado About Nothing
Love, lies, and liters of champagne! The renowned Canadian Stratford Festival presents Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing in an irresistible production. A fresh, sparkling battle of the sexes awaits you, where a biting insult is the finest compliment.
Benedick and Beatrice, two sworn opponents of marriage, engage in an endless game of verbal ping-pong. Because of this, their friends set a playful trap for the two cynics - to make them fall in love with each other. As a whirlwind of comic misunderstandings begins to spin, a darker intrigue creeps into the play: malicious gossip threatens to ruin an upcoming wedding. Will truth ultimately prevail, or a perfect deception?
Prepare for an elegant visual feast that exudes the pure joy of performance. Enjoy masterful acting, precise direction, and costumes you would love to immediately hang in your own wardrobe.
