This dramatization of George Orwell’s famous novel, performed by Petr Bezruč Theater, is as dark and terrifying as the book itself. It presents a story about manipulation of the human mind that makes us question our limits and who we actually are. Big Brother is watching, at all times and everywhere. In Oceania, one of the three superpowers is fighting to gain hegemony over the world. Winston, the protagonist, is a member of the Party controlling the media and peoples’ minds - once he realizes that the Party is mass-spreading lies, he becomes a target.
