Rival Queens. Dinner for Two Voices
Operatic pasticcio based on the pamphlet "The Contre Temps or Rival Queens". Director Pawel Paszta presents a real rivalry between Italian female singers from the first half of the 18th century - Faustina Bordoni and Francesca Cuzzoni - exclusively for the Dramma per Musica Festival. Soprano Dorota Szczepanska together with mezzo-soprano Anna Radziejewska put on an excellent operatic performance in two voices with a farcical tinge.
